When I first heard about EFT/tapping back in 2014 I thought it was strange … but I was intrigued!
I can remember googling “EFT tapping practitioner near me” to find out more. Dawn Murray, a seasoned practitioner, replied to my email and we met at Tim Hortons for tea.
It wasn’t long before this kind lady had me tapping specific points on my face and torso, while I shared something with her that had been really bothering me at the time (I wasn’t expecting that, nor the tears!) - especially in the middle of the coffee shop!
I was shocked at how comfortable I felt in my vulnerability, which I now know is because tapping regulates the nervous system and calms the body.
I felt AMAZING afterward - like I could FLY HOME!
… and from that day on, I was hooked.

Here’s why tapping was exactly what I was personally looking for …
Anxiety started in my early childhood when my sister was diagnosed with cancer. She passed away almost six years later - a month after I turned 12 years old.
Facing this immense loss, after her long journey with illness, created deep fear, grief, confusion, and uncertainty to settle in.
I no longer felt safe in the world.
Worrying about everything became a way of life for me at a young age. The anxiety dug its claws in and disguised itself as my protection.
When I found EFT several decades later, it became the pathway to unravel my protective resistance and rewire those fear-based programs.
It allowed me to rediscover my True Self!
My wellness journey continues to bring peace and contentment into my life - without the worry!
I value the healing and freedom that surfaces when I dig deep to process the aspects of myself that I’d rather avoid or keep hidden away.
I’m committed to meeting unprocessed emotions with awareness, acceptance, and love because that is how the invisible wounds are healed.
